Staying the course: how to follow UCD methodologies regardless of the obstacles
Since 2010 I have worked as a design consultant designing digital interfaces for enterprise and consumer systems. I believe in the use of user-centred methodologies in order to deliver intuitive and joyful experiences.
I have worked with multinational clients, from a wide range of sectors including retail, financial services, utilities, pharmaceuticals, and public sector. I have collaborated with local and international multidisciplinary teams from early stages of research up to design, implementation and deployment of digital projects.
The selection of user engagement, empathy methods and techniques that I use cater to suite the context, necessities and requirements of each individual project, for example: storyboarding user journeys, role-playing, persona creation, contextual enquires, and prototype testing with key users.
Specialties: User Experience, User-Centred Design, User Research, Problem-Solving, Prototyping, Workshop Facilitator, Multichannel, Apps, Agile methodologies, Client Services and Sustainability.
